Podcast Episode Recommendations – Nov 2020

Happened to listen to some amazing podcast episodes this week.

  • Security Headlines with Eijah: I didn’t know who Eijah was before I listened to this episode. Moreover it was over 2 hours long and I was unsure before listening. But I am glad I did. It was an amazing episode and one of the best interviews I listened to in a while. Eijah is such an inspiration!

“The miscalibration of the incompetent stems from an error about the self, whereas the miscalibration of the highly competent stems from an error about others.”

Dunning-Kruger Effect

Came across the above quote from this episode. Basically, incompetent people overestimate their ability and think high of themselves; while competent people think high of others and feel they are not competent enough and hence suffer from an imposter syndrome.

  • Day Two Cloud 067 – Choosing The Right Applications For The Cloud: A very informative episode on moving to the cloud
  • Day Two Cloud 070 – The State Of Multi-Cloud Networking: A funny interview episode on the cloud in general and multi cloud in particular.
