Came across Festivitas for macOS via various mentions in Mastodon and blog posts. While I’ve used other apps from the developer Simon B. Støvring on iOS (Jayson and Datajar are pretty useful though I haven’t used either in a while as I don’t mess around much with Shortcuts nowadays) I wasn’t following him on Mastodon so wasn’t aware of this new app.
Easily the best €4 I spent recently. Now my dock is all decked up like this. 😍
On the dock I turned off the blinking as it was distracting, but I have it turned on in the menu bar. The app’s quite customizable too in that you can change a lot of parameters (cable length, the colours, cable drop length in case of the menu bar, and so on…)
It’s the little things!
Update (18th Dec 2024): Latest update lets you have the lights in the menu bar move or fade when the mouse is near it. Love it!
