I watched two episodes of “Roadkill”, the new TV series starring Hugh Laurie and left it. Hugh Laurie is amazing as usual, Helen McCrory (who portrays the PM) (she played Polly Gray in “Peaky Blinders”) is so commanding… and I wish the show was just about these two characters and nothing else! The story is kind of meh and i-can’t-believe-this-happend but the scenes between these two are so captivating. I could have stuck it out and watched the remaining two episodes, but I have this thing nowadays of cutting my loses early if I am not interested in a show after the first couple of episodes and so I quit it.
Sad. I really enjoy watching Hugh Laurie and part of me wishes I had just stuck with it.
