I came across More Everything Forever via a Mastodon recommendation. Looked interesting and not so rosy eyed view of AI and Silicon Valley, so I gave it a listen. The book just released last week in the UK so I couldn’t get hold of that, but the audiobook was out way before so I listened to it instead.
Am glad I did. Not only was the book perfectly narrated, but I thoroughly enjoyed the content. Never have I smiled so much or nodded so enthusiastically with a non-fiction book, I think. Such a breath of fresh air and reassurance to know that you are on crazy in not getting so excited by all the hype in the world around us – AI, the constant growth, data, etc. Part of me always wondering if I was just a luddite or too old, but this book set me right hah! š
Give it a listen or read. Highly recommended. I am so glad this book was written and I came across it.
