Today I discovered Hammerspoon and am blown away. Wow. No time to figure it out currently but I wanted to capture this moment. Hammerspoon is something. I was vaguely aware that it existed but hadn’t actually installed or tried it until today.
Must spend some time this weekend playing with it. Need to figure out Lua for it.
In a similar vein discovered Mermaid a few days ago. Again, was aware of it, but a few days ago I took the time out to make some diagrams with it and was mightily impressed.
There’s a rush of excitement that you get when discovering really amazing technology. Hard to describe, but in that moment not only are you excited at the things people do but also just filled with hope about the possibilities and the smartness of people who think up of such stuff.
